It was so awesome working with not only the handsome NBC star James Scott from Days of Our Lives but also the amazingly talented Chris Botti on Trumpet! Music Heals

Every day I realize more and more how music heals. Sometimes it is when I’m listening to my headphones while traveling and sometimes it is when I find the perfect lyrics for a song… sometimes it is after a performance and I can feel the emotion in my audience. Music gives a feeling of love, warmth, and relaxation that is so unique.

I first witnessed the healing power of music when I was a nurse and was just singing on the side. I sat next to one of my patients who was suffering from Dementia who had just stopped swallowing and I began to sing gently to the woman. She looked into my eyes and for the first time I saw her smile and then she began to eat. The doctors were amazed. I took a quick break from nursing but returned to my job in Toronto where I continued to notice the healing powers of music. I sang to a young man battling cancer who was undergoing extensive treatment and when he was released his dad approached me with tear-filled eyes and said “My son is better because of the way you sang to him.”
Those were the days I will never forget as they inspired me to follow my dreams of singing and songwriting. Although my nursing days are forever in my memory I will never turn back because I experience the healing powers of music every single day.

Travels with Tiffany

Everyone knows how much I love my dog, Tiffany! She is my sweet, adorable Maltese puppy who I bring absolutely everywhere with me. Animals are amazing companions to have, especially a small one like Tiffany because you can bring them everywhere with you. I am always traveling for my music and for fun, and Tiffany loves to come with me.

  

            We have traveled to Spain, throughout the United States, Canada, Aruba, and so many other places. Throughout our travels we have experienced new cultures, great shopping and music around the world. I am thankful to have such a great travel & shopping buddy. She never complains and looks so cute the whole time.

Everyone deserves a great dog like Tiffany to travel with :)
